For those of you only now joining us, Gabriel was a character made for an RP conceived by Basilisk2150, set in a fantasy-steampunk version of DMFA, a comic by missmab
At this point, all the material is either mine, or so derivative I'm not sure who the copyrights for it go to. The Demo. 101 page on the DMFA site would be informative, but not crucial to understanding what's going on in this comic. The worldbuilding is around 2/3rds 'Liskies, and I've made up or filled in the rest (mainly, what stuff looks like). The plot's inspired by the original RP, but only faintly. So, it's kinda hard to draw the line between who owns what. The characters (so far) and art are all mine, though, I can say that.
Isxarch-Skandt ("IZ-ark") was fun to design. There's me wondering what kind of a costume I could do for a guy who doesn't wear clothes, and I thought "This is steampunk, and he's got a carapace. Why not just bolt the stuff right on?"
I'm going to have to redesign the filigree on his bicep... I don't like it. I might add some to his abdomen, too. His head came out like a potato, too. Oh well, here's to pg. 3
Foreman Carell was an epiphany... there's me looking at victorian hairstyles, and I'm thinking "how would you put mutton-chops on a furry..?" Border collie. GENIUS! (Yeah, sure. I'll just keep telling myself that.)
As with pg. 1, I'd appreciate any feedback. I'm experimenting here, and I only have half an idea of what I'm doing... let alone how it's going.
Thoughts?

[EDIT] I should probably mention... Insectis (in my version of things) use an expanded version of AM and PM for time. Nox-Meridian is midnight, so ANM and PNM means before and after midnight, respectively. This is because either 12 AM or PM can too be misinterpreted as either midnight or noon (which Isxarch et. all would find intolerable), and using 24-hour time to modern.
Besides... "ante-meridian-nox" sounds like just the sort of thing Isxarch would say.
[Edit the 2nd] I should probably keep straight whether I'm using "nox-meridian" or "meridian-nox." Probably the former.
