Sorry I couldn't get this up last Thursday. I had a ridiculous amount of homework pile up on me. That and slow major movements are the most difficult to make for me.
So this is sort of a nocturne of sorts, I suppose. It's like dreaming; you're walking through different dreams and the main theme that keeps coming back is like the overall theme of the dream universe. On a side note (for all you classical people that went "wait a sec..."), Pictures at an Exhibition is awesome =P
Anyway, it's in lydian mode, which means rather than the traditional major scale, the fourth note gets raised a half step. This isn't so for the whole piece of course, but for the main theme. It's a very difficult and unstable mode to write in as it turns out. Anyway, I hope you'll all enjoy it. Expect the last movement in a couple weeks.
