Anyone besides me remember those playground slides that were about 10-20 feet tall?

To this day I remember being about 5-ish and sitting at the top of one of those things and looking out over the vast expanse of playground. It was during a cookout that was held on the school grounds. So I was sitting up there and having one of those nestle-crunch-coated ice cream bars, and I remember a radio was playing "All I Have To Do Is Dream" by the Everly Brothers. ^^
yeah I remember those. They took them all out because it wasn't safe. You know now they have to put the kids in a styrofoam box with bubblewrap all over the place to make sure he doesn'Mt get a scratch and his mom gets mad and sues everyone she can. Today it's like kids don't have any brain left. Like they can't realise they'll get hurt if they fall.
I don't know if it's still there or not, but the park where my mother's family used to have yearly reunions had a big 10-footer like that, and I loved it. I would imagine that the safety nazis are probably eliminating them, though...
