Blender is SUCH a good program, I love the thing.

It is indeed :) Very powerful program to be opensource. Not to mention it's not far below the ranks of Maya/3DS and zBrush due to how powerful it is :)

It is actually not very hard :) just download blender and take a few of their tutorials.

Honestly, the hardest part is understanding Blender's interface and its shortcuts but once you get that out of the way, it may be smooth sailing for you :)

Oh ja :D sadly, I lost the file :( my HDD doesn't have gryo protection and when my dog bumped the desk computer feel and the arm inside the HDD went limp x.x The HDD I have now has surge and gyro protection so that will not happen again but as soon as I get external drive, I am saving everthing there :D

Awww losing stuff that isn't backed up is no fun! Sorry to hear that, are you planning on redoing it/modeling a new character? You've done even better than I could do so far, keep it up!

Well what I do now is draw out a reference then trace it :D muuuuuuch easier that way. this I made a model in Makehuman then modded the mess out of it >.< too for EVER and had to retrouch some things since I had to use sculpting tools, it deformed other things where I did not want it to whereas making from scratch was so much faster and I get direct results if subnurfed.

Only problem is my perspective of proper anatomy could use some tuning badly, I plan on making these models for SL ja but the real reason I started making them was because I am wanting to do a full CG 'feature film', so to say, of my two stories to be put out soon :D it is probably going to take me forever but I am prepaire for challange! >:D

Hrmm Makehuman I haven't heard of that one before. Actually my wolf model isn't technically 100% from scratch either since it was just attachments over the SL human mesh x.x The Maya scene is also a total mess of pieces since I put it all together in-world. But yeah I wasted at least a year of freetime to get even that far so I know how time consuming all this is :P

I wish I could sketch like you can, I'm really envious at how good your sketches are ^^; Your anatomy isn't bad at all!

I worked off of nearly ten reference pictures of random furry art from FA by eye, mostly to sort of blend all the anatomy together so it looked somewhat original, plus that way I could use the parts I liked the most :P I don't know how I'd go about doing my next model if I do anything new yet, I'm still procrastinating >.<

I checked out most of your gallery earlier and was impressed at how accurate your low-poly models look, I'd love to help you with your CG film if you'd like, animating looks like sooo much fun, though at the moment I don't know how useful I can be
