Organisation-wise, it's a mascot for a new upcoming Central-Europian furry con ZodiaCon. Its first year is themed The Dawn of Time. If you're up to visiting a con next spring/summer, feel free to join. The more the merrier! :)
Painting-wise, I tried to experiment with the technique and combined shaded pencil lineart with a simple digital painting, hoping against hope to create a soft, concept-like effect.

Huh. Never thought of it that way. Sometimes, it's fun being pointed out the subconscious decisions I make when designing someone. I mean, there are many stylistic choices I do on purpose, but there are almost as many I do just because it "feels right" for that guy or girl.
I'm still kinda surprised how many zodiac features I *really* did put into these guys without even realizing it.
