My first free art req is done! I scanned this with my camera from two angles 'cause the glare kept shifting. Soon as I get my scanner I can fix it up nicer. Anyways, this is for

I'm glad you like it! Aww, that sounds a little like how Cricket is! He's my min pin/terrier mix, he stands up on his back legs & dances around with his front paws waving for treats. I have a few recent pics of that in my gallery actually. I love little dogs...I love all dogs! but little ones always seem to have the most spunk and character for some reason
Sun is a 1st on alot of fronts for me. My 1st rescue, my 1st mutt, the smallest dog Ive ever had. Hes not my 1st (that honor went to Taz the Schnauzer) but he is the 1st dog Ive ever trained and the 1st dog Ive truly bonded with. He is my constant companion, always with in 20ft of me. I really don't know what Ill do when hes gone.
I hear you...I have three dogs (and three cats) waiting at the "Rainbow" for me. I miss them every single day, especially my first dogs...grew up with them, my boy since I was 5 and my first girl since I was 10. I still wear a special tag in honor of them that says "I Love You Forever & Always"
All of my dogs have been rescues, from local shelters and/or rescued from bad situations (neglect, abuse and even abandonment cases) Ironically, Foxy is my first purebreed! All my other dogs have been and are mutts. Foxy was rescued from a neglectful home where he was being used as a stud for a backyard breeder. D:
I have four rescue dogs now, and one cat. My cat is the last of the "original gang" that I grew up with, she's about 16 now but you wouldn't know it. And, of course, my guinea pigs and pet rats...I love my zoo. XD

I had Schnauzers most of my life. Butch was our last "baby" he died in 2006. We had his mother before that. And I bought Taz in 1996, he was the 1st dog that was mine tho sadly I had to rehome him in 1997 when I moved to MS from Alaska. I did make sure he went to a good home tho.
Ive also had Black mouth curs, German Shepards, boxers, poodles, maltese, greyhound, Shelties and Labs. My husband is after me now to get another dog, a large breed to train to take over Sunnys duties. Im just not ready for one and Ive never had a large breed in the house 24/7.
BTW, My husband thinks Your "Balto Lassie" rocks. He would love to have a collie or a Husky, but hes not prepared for the care they require.

Wow, you've had a lot of different breeds around! With the exception of Foxy, most of mine have been very "mixed up"...so much so that not even our vet was sure of the breeds in some of them. My first three were (best guessing): a beagle/basenji mix, a beagle/shepherd(?)mix, and a labrador/husky/aussie/pitbull/something mix...LOL.
My current three mixes are: min pin/terrier, beagle/basset, husky/collie, and then of course Foxy the chihuahua lol. Wahya's the biggest dog I've had to date, the original pack of three were all medium size (the lab mix obviously being the largest, but he had something that made him smaller than you'd think, not that much larger than a blue heeler size dog)
If he ever gets a husky or a husky mix...get ready to brush your couch on a regular basis LOL! I have seriously considered saving some of Wahya's hair & letting a friend of mine make a blanket out of it. She sheds so much it's like a snowglobe sometimes! I once had a wad of it almost the size of Foxy.
