This was something of a dual-purpose piece.. I had much of the sketch for this already done, had been working on it off and on for the last couple months, and couldn't find the time to really finish it like I wanted to. I'd been wanting to finish a decent ref of my sona for ages, but it was always pushed aside in favor of paid work.

TeflonCougar approached me with this awesome commissions project of his, and not only do I love the idea behind it, I already had much of the sketch done! Just a few tweaks to fit it into his idea, and it was too perfect to pass up.

So here's Talis!
Formerly as "Tamaris", but I hadn't really fully liked that name ever since I opted to run with it a year ago. "Talis" is part of an older name, one of the first furry names I ever used. My first real 'sona was a panther character, "Kahna Talis". I still draw Kahna, she's the grey feline with the curled tail-tip in some of the random adult works in my gallery. But her name had been shortened to just "Kahna" some years ago, and I can use "Talis" for my main 'sona here :3

Prior to that was another cat-dragon 'sona going by Aislinn. But then my life as I knew it changed completely, and it felt appropriate to shed the old 'sona. Aislinn felt like a childish character, and I needed to move on from a childish phase of my life. It's complicated, and probably silly, but.. there you have it xD
This should be the last major change to her appearance. Until I can make an official ref sheet, this will have to suffice to give an idea of how she's supposed to look.

Talis is not intended for sexual art. She is my "me", and I would feel just short of the same kind of horror if there was real photographic porn of myself on the internet.
