I can't believe forgot to upload Pascal here! Shame on me he's one of my favourite characters.

I really wanted a gryphon character but I wanted something unique since there are so many gryphons out there. In Medieval times and even later in folk lore/folk songs(ie: the Bird's Courting Song, on broadside in England 1711, has a verse about a bat) bats were considered a type of bird. I came up with Pascal based on that.

Pascal is African Lion and Straw Coloured Fruit bat and the size of a bat. I love him absolutely to bits. I'm sure there's no way I could have been the first to make a bat gryphon but I haven't come across another character like him yet. So II'm happy to have come up a character I just plain adore who is also a reasonably unique gryphon .
