perhaps you could help me, I have a skin editor and have made a skin BUT I so far have no idea how to add it to the defult textures (maybe I can't acctually do this at all)

If you have bought minecraft, log in to the minecraft website, and go to http://www.minecraft.net/skin There, you just have to upload the .PNG and it should appear in minecraft next time you start the game ^.^
