It's one thing if your boss considers you disposable. It's another if he considers you recyclable.
This took waaay too long to finish. Four and a half redraws, two and a half of which were inked, two script rewrites, a week of touching up in photoshop, and five days trying to massage the text so it would fithalf somewhat decently. Which, I'm not sure it does.
Isxarch's head, in the top frame there, is turned about 45 degrees past his shoulder. Kinda looks like I just screwed up the pose.
Isxarch got a new font. Not sure if it's more or less readable, but it's easier on the eyes at least.
Carrel's prosthetic leg was fun to draw. As well as the filligree on Isxarch's back.
Aw, just look at Carrel there in the last panel. He's clutching the clipboard like it's the only think keeping him alive.
Because it is.

Hmmmm...the way the bugs act on this page makes me confused how I should feel.
Their a slaving race, so at that point I feel rage and contempt to them. Then again at the same time this bug seems more generous and merciful then from just the little tidbits that are hinted at for the rest of the colony that makes him seem fair. Foremen Carrel is so lucky to have a boss that gave him a job instead of sending him to the butcher block.
Something tells me most people probably wouldn't want to stay there if it was a choice.
I find the prosthetic leg interesting because it was obviously designed with the bugs physical appearance in mind. Which hints that dregs like Carrel rarely get one fitted after a accident like he had.
