Paw Fashion 7: 'Tarlair' Wellington boot
Another more practical boot. What collection would be complete without a solid pair of wellies? Sturdy rubber construction, fairly simple and straightforward, though comfortable enough in their own right. Sometimes you just need to deal with rain or mud or who knows what else, but want to keep your paws clean and dry. The name comes from one of several places I've been in north Aberdeenshire that left me wishing I'd brought a pair of these along.

Oh gosh yesyesyesyesyes... these are so clean and smooth. I wonder if they're rubbery slick on the inside and all easy to put on as i thinke they are. Also, today I got to see all the models of new Fivefingers out atta outdoor store, and I found the ones that are basically all kangaroo leather, like those leather socks I showed you, but thinner and even softer...with rubber footpads (SO cuuute), those reminded me of your first two models of pawboot, and I think leather socks are very possible and even free from stinkpaw! So you're right on I think, with a lot of designs here.
I imagine the insides of these boots are pretty nice and smooth and comfy too! They'd want to have some sort of lining maybe to help let your paw and leg still breathe a little bit, or they might get really uncomfy in a hurry, but I'm sure there's some sort of compromise to be had.
And yeah I think I've seen those leather VFFs! They do tempt me, but I'd need to find out a bit more about them. They sure look nice, but my impression was that they were only meant for indoor use, like doing yoga and such, and couldn't be machine washed. I might be wrong on one or both of those things, I'd need to check, but either of them would present problems for me. The stinkpaw issue of VFFs bugs me enough that not having a good way to clean them would be kind of a dealbreaker, and.... outside is where I wanna wear them! If I'm inside I can just barepaw. But further research is required! Because yeah, I bet they'd be insanely comfy and awesome.

Indeed, those leather FFs are for just indoor. I mean, the comfort is insanely good, I didn't even have to put them on to tell, but I guess you have to be an overly clean person to wear them for long. Like for me, for sure I'd rip them to shreds just putting them on. xD Stupid giant fat awesome hugefeet... ;p Instead... sprints or KSOs. :>
Oh wow, I've been to Tarlair. :O It's just outside Macduff. XD I live quite close to the area, actually.
Loving the footwear designs so far! :D Normally I just equip digitigrade feet with sandals (Including having a sole between the toes and the ground, to protect them from sharp stones and the like), but it's interesting seeing other designs too!

Oh cool! Neat that you know the place. :) Tarlair's never really been that bad for mud when I've been there, but it seemed like it had the best name of the options available to me. :) It's a pretty place up there. Sandals like that certainly seem like they'd work well too! I just have a thing for boots so that's how these ideas all got started. :) The open-toe designs do have that issue of course, leaving the toes unprotected if you have to deal with sharp stones or anything.
