Story - It is the world of Pokemon, however, trainers are not friends with their pokemon. The pokemon are servants of a much larger machine, stripped of any priviledges other than to serve the greater anthro population. Sam meets Morgan, a houndoom with a burning question about his father's death, and agrees to help him if he will help her change the way anthros treat pokemon. Meanwhile, Lauren Rivers, a gym leader, has begun a forbidden romance with her pokemon, Rukario. When these four meet, will they be able to change the world, or be taken down by it?

Oh yeah, but that was the point. To take the pokemon universe and play it more realistically with a darker tone, and of course make the pokemon actual characters and such. :)
I always found it hard to buy how in the cartoon they'd say, hey, you're 10, go wander in the woods and find animals to make them fight each other. LOL. :)
I thought that this made a pretty good interpretation of the pokemon universe, Lauren style. :)

This is amazing, Lauren. Really good! I'm a writer, so I know what I'm saying. I have to admit (somewhat pessimistically) that if pokemon were real, they would probably be treated more like this. It's like the games were the fantasy and this was the reality. I like the darker tone of the story.
I've just red this. Really nice story, I liked reading this. At first I was afraid that I'll be there only as typical secretary, who is needed only for gaining informations, but second half of this story make this much better, that moment when you asked me what to do was the nicest for me :)
If we'll miss my egoism, there's a little other "-" - there's no descriptions of character. Of course, people can check arts you added to description of submission, but we must say pure - there isn't a lot of people, who read this, so sometimes people can be missed there.
My rate is 7 in rates from 1 to 10. I fav this and I'll read second part during next days ;)

You might have a point there. Lindsay has a small role in part 2 because of all the things I needed to do in the second part, but I am hopeful to give everyone a decent role in part 3. ;)
