arpad bugged me for a little while about making him a pair of socks, since I had sorta been playing around with some patterns and things a little while ago. I got most of the way through these except for the end of one of them and then ran out. So THAT sucked. Had to wait a little while to go pick up another skein of yarn, and the dye lot was different of course.Finally finished them tonight. Blah. I'm really happy with how they came out, though! I'm glad I found a way to get away from those terrible crocheted sock patterns where the heal sticks out funny from the rest of the sock when they're not on the foot. Aghhhh, those look so terrible.
I don't think that made these turn out bad. They're just a little funkier for the different dye lot!

You know what would probably sell well? Socks as cute as these, with pawpads on the bottom [thinking that grippy material some slipper socks have?] Don't know how feasible it is to do that, but GAH. Would be cute.

I thought that, too! Also mittens! The only problem is while they're easy enough to make, they're still time-consuming, and I don't think I could charge an amount that people would both be willing to pay and would be worth my time.
But I guess I don't know how much people would be willing to pay!
