On Magnus, yes. SO basically the layers would go, 1.) Loin cloth 2.) arm and leg wraps 3.) open weave shirt and trews, inched don by a tied belt, 4.) Padded coat, 5.) mail "hauberk" 6.) Gut protector (actually covers some of the back too. Sometimes this piece is used alone for really cheap light infantry) 7.) Byzantine rib covering Cuirasse, 8.) Lorica style arms. 9.) greaves and hock plates, metal bracers. 10.) Baldric for his Spatha, and cape, sash and Cash belt Does this help?
