What a wonderful piece! Using cool, light tones on a dark background really makes it pop. The textures of fur and feather are excellently layered. The expression is a gem. Wonderful work and I am happy to be able to add it to my favs.

The detail that you can fit into 3"x8" is amazing. Very beautiful, especially the highlights that bring out his face.

Thank you! I have been itching to work bigger, I feel stifled a lot of the time by small canvases, but they are exponentially faster to work with.
I've got to do something big though, soon!
