Defiance for bringing this character to life for me with her lovely artz.
This is Richard Ignacio Perez, known to his friends as Rip. He is a red kangaroo/vampire bat hybrid. Although he tries to be cocky and suave, his hybrid nature gets him into trouble sometimes. Although he always goes to sleep lying down he usually wakes up hanging upside down in his closet and promptly falls on his head. He also has an annoying tendency to bite his dates on the neck.
He loves barbecues on the beach and night surfing. Because his custom gray surfboard bears his initials R.I.P., he jokingly calls it his tombstone.

Well he is part kangaroo which Australians sometimes call rippers and rip is also a surfboard term so I thought Rip was a good name for him. Then I realized that if he is half vampire bat then he must have some South American heritage and what else could R.I.P. be initials for besides Richard Ignacio Perez. It was so obvious!
