So I finally kicked myself in the butt and got this finished. Chapter 1 of my mecha series, Maiden M! While this first chapter is fairly serious, I want this series to be more lighthearted than Omega Archer Ryouji. No telling if I'll be able to do that, but we'll see.

I'm not honestly sure where this is going from here on out. I mean, I know what happens, but not how the story gets there. So I don't expect to be writing chapter 2 any time soon. I suppose I ought to mention, this series is based entirely on a dream. That gave me the title, the pilot, the main mech's design and the opening plot of this chapter. That's also why it ends where it does. So if any of this doesn't make any sense, blame it on trying to interpret a dream.
