A commission (that I love!) from Nyaasu (whom I love!). These are two characters from a story idea of mine, siblings Sky and Claire. Long story short, shit be whack, a magical sword just appeared in front of Sky, and Claire tripped while they were running for their lives so Sky rushed back to protect his little sister with this mysterious sword. Surprisingly, this seems to work…
There's a lot more to this story, but I'm not gonna go into it too much because there's a lot there and it's still in development. Let it just be known that I love this art, and Nyaasu's too hard on herself: she does humans great. Go tell her that!

The usual stuff. World being threatened by cosmic horrors, all hope rests on a twelve-year old boy with a magic sword, except that our hero is completely ordinary. No powers, no secret heritage, no great destiny awaiting him. His best friend, on the other hand, has magical gifts, is possibly related to the royal family of a magical kingdom, and has a huge destiny in front of him.
