omekin asked me to make him a giraffe dragon, and since I needed to test my plush pattern anyways, and the fabric was only $2/yd, I gave it a shot. The result is this little guy, who is named Sancho for some reason.

He's built on my original pattern, isn't for sale, and I am not taking requests or commissions for these. Minky fur for the horns/belly/wing undersides, butter suede for the inside of the mouth and tongue, and a super short velvet fur for the skin. Stock cat eyes, and 2" brown shag fur for the mane and tail fluff. Wings are quilted over two layers of 1/4" batting.

Sancho sits about a foot high, and about a foot and a half long snout to tail.

He's got a secret surprise too - a packet of scented pellets in his belly, full of Stormy Night scent, as per Ome's request. Also something I wanted to test out, and now I know I can make scented plushes!
