not sure what to do background-wise if I want to make one though :(

I think it would do fine with a simple background, maybe green with some leaf outlines.

I'll have to play around with it on another piece of paper and see what I come up with. Just finished up the last of the shading. I'm going to add the spots too but not until after I study up on some spot patterns from a REAL jaguar so I make it not horrible xD

You definitely have to get the scanner :o . It's awfully blurry, but i guess it's a really nice picture in real.
BTW, why the purple spots? Black jaguars are quite rare choice for fursona, you don't have to give her crazy colors all around, she would be priettier without this :). It's a panther, not my little pony xd.

lol yeah it is ^^; I just had a really hard time getting my camera to do a pic and yeah, I know I need a scanner but I don't have one and my school took them off all the imacs so I had no access to one

The purple is actually there dyed into the fur. It's there because she's a tribal dancer type thing and each symbol has meaning for her family and such. I don't know, it's just something I liked and it's always been there since the day my friend and I made her up ^^; It's one of those "don't have the heart to change" details
