Whoo! Finally got this done. Commissioned by
ex626akakeon at FCN, last-minute on Sunday.
Put some extra work into this (probably way too much, for what was paid) mostly because it took so long to get going. Ah well, learning experience. (This kind of work I'd probably charge more like 80-100 for normally. Although at that point I might also add in more light sources and a background.)
The level of detail in the character was probably another issue I should've scaled the price up for, he's got a lot of bits and pieces, like the horns, and those little wing-accents on his gloves. (it's one thing to say a dragon, or a *human* in a costume, but a *dragon* with costume details, combined with the action pose, made this one pretty hefty.) At least the chains went fairly easily, made a custom photoshop brush that did the basic chain-link for me. Otherwise this would be another day or two.

You did a great job with this Alex!
I know I did a b&w pic for this character, and indeed the details took quite a while.
I do think it was a good learing experience for you on doing art-on-demand.
How do you deliver a digital piece? Do you send them a file or do a print-out of the piece?
