My College radio station KAYE-FM 90.1 at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa is planning a big staff reunion this summer. I've been going through and scanning old photos for the Facebook page.
This is a photo of the control room from sometime in the late 80's. I took it with a cheap camera (probably a 110) and I cant find the negative, so its scanned off the photo and cleaned up the best I could.
Besides the new cart machines it looked the same as it did when I worked there in 1980-2. I see a CD player but no computers anywhere! Later they put in a computer, new board and desk etc.
I did and said a lot of crazy things in this room I'd get fired now for if I was still jocking!
To see what it looked like in 2005 (and pretty much the same way today) - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5664520/

Anyways, that's a really cool photo. I wish my college radio station had a set up like that (hence I did host an oldies radio show that probably would have involved playing songs off of LPs and 45s). All they had were the old Denon CD Cart players and a computer which used the industry standard MediaTouch ON AIR automation software.
