My good friend davidn has been working on this game called Crystal Towers 2. It's a retro-styled platformer with missions and objectives, sort of like a 2D SNES Mario 64, with some extremely light Metroidvania elements (getting spells that let you double jump or something so you can get to areas you couldn't get to before, etc.) And, much like anything davidn has ever done, the music is absolutely amazing in a retro throwback sort of way. Go get the demo or something, it's pretty fun.

He was posting some development progress updates in his LiveJournal, and someone pointed out his tendency to obsessively use the pinkish magenta cloak option in all of his shots despite the fact that other choices exist.

I never even noticed the potential for that title :) Thanks for the mention in return!
Of course, the real reason was that I've only got the one save that can access everything and I couldn't be bothered editing the save file again to change it back to anything else. Wasn't it...?
