Do you have an old book of wallpaper samples, or something like that? I can't picuture you sneaking into old houses with an exacto knife, and slicing off squares of wallpaper while the occupants sleep... though it would make interesting headlines.
MYSTERY WALLPAPER SNATCHER STRIKES AGAIN!!!
Police released informastion on the lates of a series
of inexpliable break-and-entries that have plagued the
neighborhood of late. Mrs. Antonia Abernathy, the victim of
last night's caper, said, "I was asleep in the other room! I
couldn't have slept a wink, though, had I known that some
weirdo was creeping around in my hall, looking for a wall
to deface!" Police so far have no idea for the motive. The
criminal typically removes a swath of wallpaper about the
size of a playing card, from one or more walls, but removes
nothing else from the premises. The one link between crimes
is the strikingly bad taste the perp exhibits in his or her choice.
Quote Mr.s Abernathy, "Bad taste? Hmph. I liked it enough for the
entire hall and dining room." Police have returned to their 24
hour poker marathon until more clues are presented.
