Scrae started out as a character in some story ideas I had, and then he was modified to fit into a roleplaying community (the RP version of Scrae had powers that were waaaaay toned down). That Scrae ended up dying and being reincarnated as an elf. But I missed my original Scrae, and realized suddenly that I could actually draw him the way that I imagined him now. Back in 2003 when I first dreamt him up, I could only draw crap. So, finally, one of my oldest characters has a reference sheet.
