Ya. When I saw the layer interface, I thought it was Gimp, having the same eye thingy, folder tabs....well not all exactly. I suppose though, there is an established tool format between all image manipulation programs that any professional knows that this [tool] does that like in [Gimp] and [Photoshop].
Very nice! Basically the same idea as the xeroxed animations from the 60s and on. I never tried coloring my sketches directly, but that's mostly because I'm bad at cleaning up and I never miss a chance to use a brush ;)
My scanning method is basically just scanning the lineart in black and white, at gigantic size (600-800dpi usually)

Actually that Xerox method of animation commonly used in the 60's-80's was exactly where I go the idea from.....specificly the Disney films from that time. I have always been rather fond of that sketchy look (even if it was used as a budget cutting method). It's pretty cool that you picked up on what I was going for with this.
