I read the da journal, it seems it was too much of a personal struggle to continue on with the sieries, so she stepped down?
But she did say that she's is envolved in the beginging of the season and less towards the end, so we will se what the difference is when we actually watch the Show when it airs. (which i can't wait for to realease)
This is certainly interesting and a bummer, all i'm wondering is, will there be future seasons without her?

Ok... Why won't anyone understand this??????
First:
Lauren Faust DIDN'T make the show on her own, he only wrothe the pilot episodes, which is what, 2 out of 26
Second: the thing she helped the most with were the designs, which WON'T change at all...
What I'm trying to say is that it should be just as awesome as it is now.

Well yeah, I won't say anything to that cuz it's true, one of the reasons I stopped watching cartoons xD you know, since invader zim was cancelled, I stopped watching cartoons and switched over to discovery channel, then 8 years later this came and geez, I loved it just like I loved invader zim, lol
But I'm sure this will remain the same :3

Don't worry she was just the visionary who laid the groundwork for the show runs and the shows staff will try very hard to keep to her vision without deviating to much and as for why she left it's because she has a bun in the oven if you know what I mean and one last thing, this is old news she announced this 2 days after the season finale on her DA account.
This may not as bad as you think it would be. Thing is someone as high up as Ms Faust, the network may want her to get something new going since MLP and the staff involved are well established and whoever took over her spot would be carefully chosen. I don't think Hasbro is stupid enough to shoot itself in the foot by just sending Faust away for no reason.
Wait...Lauren Faust...the women who gave the MLP series another chance on the TV waves...has left...?
