Thanks! I spent too much time wrestling the software and just finished it to move on. Didn't feel like much of a background so I went cheap :)

I didn't find SAI as intuitive as ArtRage. Give that one a try if you feel like it. But the best thing is to just use whatever allows you draw best and don't worry about learning all the different tools. All these tools nowadays are pretty good so if you stick with any of them, you should be able to do good stuff. Maybe you'll find, like me, that drawing and doing everything in PS really isn't that bad after all.

Thanks for the feedback and advice. I'll look at Art Rage. I suppose if I'm not doing Vector based I might as well use PS. I'm much better in PS and I knwo it a lot better but I'll see.
