Here's a small project I put together whilst trying to learn a bit more about the programs Cakewalk Sonar 5 Producer Edition and GigaStudio 3.0 Orchestra. The arrangement is not wholly my own--I transcibed the music from a book of organ sheet music I have of Christmas tunes to this woodwind quintet arrangement. Simple stuff, really--enter the notes in the sequencer (Sonar 5), route to the sampler (GigaStudio) using samples (VSL Opus 1 series), add a little reverb in the DSP station, record, trim silence, convert to mp3, upload. And there ya have it. Enjoy.
