If everything goes right, there's a good chance that Thaden (aka Wolfmonkey) will be coming out to visit sometime next year from Kiwitopia. I don't exactly live in the most happening part of America, and felt really badly that if he came out here I wouldn't be able to show him anything. Hence the idea of the roadtrip from the coast to the Great Plains was born.
I had a lot of things I needed to practice for Red's commission, not to mention it had been bothering me that I couldn't do cars still so I had to try in color (because I found out recently I still majorly suck at them in B&W). The car is (obviously) a modified '67 Mustang, but since I couldn't REALLY draw a Mustang, I added extra chrome, changed the taillights, changed the side windows, and all that . . . so it's now a Furd Howler.
The most handsome canid/primate Thaden (Wolfmonkey) appears courtesy his player, not to be distributed w/o permission, yadda yadda.

(I'm not convinced that you can't do cars:p Cos this picture is really good^^, Sort of miss seeing the devils peak in there though:p But maybe thats not the area you're drinving in:p)

*hugs tight* I mentioned it as a "wish we could", only later did it become a "could we really?" It's still very much in the "wow, that would be cool" dream category for us too.
This is further south, in Nevada or Utah or the like. Devil's Tower is in a different type of environment, more hills, scrub, and trees. :)

Yea, i was thinking about the enviroments when i wrote that:p I like ALL those places^^, Nevada is a cool place to drive through:p Utah as well^^,
And you know, you really SHOULD take that trip^^, Roadtrips are the BEST vacations there is^^,

I've looked over the route and my basic plan of attack right now is San Diego to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, up to Salt Lake City, over to Denver, if we have time up to Yellowstone but if not skip that leg and go to the Black Hills, then home (SD/MN border). Sad thing is I don't think we can afford a 'Stang for this trip. XD
Well you will travelling over some beautiful roads in some beautiful country esp when you get to Wyoming, and you can ask

The most famous road in the world, even more famous then the Autobahn, Instantly reconizeable by anyone who's ever seen it in photos, films, and been there in real life, sadly dis wuff has never been there in his real life.
But anhoo....

God i envy the crap out of your colors.
ONE thing though, the car looks like it's not moving. I would suggest maybe tossing a little blurring on that beasting going to the right to kinda show that it's moving. Or maybe blur the background somewhat.

Heh, you know, it kinda reminds me of a road-trip a friend and I made to pick up another friend so he could hang out with us for a few days.
The friend that rode with me injured his foot at work prior to the trip, and so he most certainly stayed in his seat.
It was a whole lot of fun though. We talked and laughed the whole ride.

We're going through much the same here. It's cheaper to fly right now than it is to drive a car in the case of many destinations. I'd love to get a gorgeous convertable to take Thaden around the country in but I'm thinking we might be going for the smallest hybrid we can find . . . .
Out of morbid curiosity, but is it wrong when the first thing that comes to my mind in seeing this picture is the phrase "Go greased lightning, reving up the quarter mile?" ^ ^;;;
Though I will say this: You did an exceptional job on that car there Tensik Shisho. That.. is just. AMAZING there~!
And again, loving the background. I can't help it. I like landscapes. ^ ^;; [As I draw them so.. SO very rarely...]
It's a traditional [OR typical] desert highway. That.. that in itself to make the scene, is just beautiful to me.

"put on your turn signal, that way. Nice job on it all, but if I may offer just a tiny bit of criticism, it would have to be the angle of either the car, or the road. Dont get me wrong, real amazing piece of work, just seems that the car is heading to go off the road, or at least from my point of view is all.
