"Loose Leaf" is my current Story-Through-Pictures project.

Takara owns the “Loose Leaf” Tea House & Geisha Lounge. There, she trains an enigmatic, amorous group of Geisha and Maiko (apprentice Geisha) that have become her own little family. From stocking Tea, to sewing outfits, Takara is the heart of the business and makes sure things are as they should be. Known as “Mama” to the Staff, she has offered them each a second chance at life by working for her. They all have been saved from various seedy pasts, such as Prostitution, Crime, and other less reputable professions. She trains them in the arts and traditions of being a Geisha; including Dance, Music and Serving Tea. However, every entertainer in the house seems to specialize in a certain talent, and has a defined style.

Guests are greeted by the mistress herself, and are allowed to choose just whom they would like to spend the evening with, based on his or her interests. Indeed, Loose Leaf’s Staff has many pleasures to offer, (some offering a little more of themselves then they perhaps should...) But old habits are hard to break; and unlike the Geisha Houses of the Past, Takara allows her little “family” to make their customers happy, by any means they wish. "Loose Leaf" is the most frequented establishment in Kanazawa Village, and receives high praise for how talented and charismatic it's Staff is... Much to the chagrin of the neighboring Brothels in the Red Light District.
