This is what I've been doing alongside commissions today.

The beginnings of a piece for the RCSI 10-Year Anniversary Art Contest! It's one of my favorite comics online by far, so I decided to use the contest as an excuse to brush up on my illustration-composing skills. [I should note that the London depicted is not only inaccurate but I think geographically impossible.]

I'm very slow at setting up an image, but I'm also impatient, so I typically rush through it, either giving up later or coming up with an awful result. This first progress image is an attempt by me to work through thumbnail and planning/setup stages at a good clip and without half-assing it.
