She's at least 1000, since she's been banished for 1000 years. Before that, who knows? It's possible her attempted takeover happened the week after they took the throne... It's also possible they're older than the universe itself, being physical gods and all.

Well, we seen lamp post in the show with what look like Navi, the helping fairy in Zelda. They seems to light themselves with some kind of huge firefly when unicorns doesn't make light with their horn.
