Tales from the Hotel at the End of the Road

Wow. Ok, so this story is 19,069 words, written in under a week. I can't remember the last time I wrote so much so quickly. I think, hopefully, I'll slow down a bit after this.
The idea came from writing "Don't Fall in Love." I had mentioned there how metas were supposed to feel waking up for the first time, and I immediately found myself asking what if what was supposed to happen didn't. Initially, the tamers were only supposed to be present for one scene and then never appear again; but I found myself wanting to include more of them, as they worked as perfect instigators for the events of the story and their story was just as interesting to me as Tony and Cody's. I deliberately included some sadomasochism because I have never written much of that before.
Like "Die Fast," this story is a reflection on thoughts and emotions dredged up while reading
nathancowan's Foxforce series. Laika's holstered dildo was a deliberate homage to Tigre, and her and Dominic are reflections of Tigre and Cheshire in the world of the Hotel at the End of the Road. Tony was a deliberate attempt to stand one of the Foxforce tropes on its head: instead of struggling with an engineered part of himself that wants submission, he's struggling with engineered submissiveness in others, which elicits his own darker dominant nature.
As always, constructive criticism is appreciated.
