Gawd! I've been at this for...what...8 hours now? Geez! While it only took me about 30 minutes to actually sketch this a few weeks ago, I've been here for all the rest of that time coloring this. It's like when I finally get the chance to work, I go into slow mode or something. Well, at least I was able to work on this without much interruption.


I am still finalizing mt design, but it is not final. I have better defined my face markings, adding a tad bit of reddish-brown on the front of my muzzle, and I decided to add merle spots on my muzzle and a few down my neck. Am considering removing the big ones on my face. I already have these merle spots on my "fox gloves", going up my leg from my ankles and up my arms from my wrist

I need to work on shadow, because I made the eyes too dark. I should go back and edit this some more. I guess I was so happy that it looked finished that I just say screw it, and submitted it. I shouldn't do that... Will have to work on that quality issue a bit.

I can't draw worth a crap, but a few weeks ago I came across a tutorial by  habu about drawing faces. You can see the tutorial here. I decided to try it out, this was my first try, then I thought I would color it sometime soon. This is that soon, although it took a while.


I am trying to get better at everything. Drawing, coloring, shading (speaking of which, I think I forgot the highlights...), 3D modeling, etc. But I need money now. I am considering taking coloring commission for...oh I don't know...$20. I need money, and am tired of getting turned away for much of no reason.



By the way, thought I'd clear up a few things. First, I am not a cheetah. I am what I call a "frux". I may change this, but for now it stays as frux. A frux is a combination of a FoX, a Rat, and a bUnny. However, most of the coloration of my AVATAR (NOT fursona) comes from dogs. Namely the golden color (from a golden retriever), the front brown of my muzzle and my back (from a GSD), and the merle spots from pretty much any dog that has them. Also, my earring is my custom potara earring, or Supreme Kai earring. This is just one of them, modeled after Terra (Earth), and the other one on my other ear is modeled after Luna (the moon). If you look carefully, you'll see clouds around my earrings. Yes, they can do that. Speaking of which, I forgot my other earrings. Dang it.
