a friend of mine was a nut he stuffed a small v8 in his for racing (shakes head) he was nutz totaly nutz

I too have heard of people stuffing a V8 in it. That would be cool except it probably eats gas.
If I had my way, I would be getting a used 200? police crown vic, or a Ford Taurus SHO.

only issue with a police unit is they get used HARD they are also very basic but with the police option packages they are excelent handlers and can if you find one with a decent engine get out of its own way damn quick

as for the v8 it all depends on which one and what options it has when he first shooehorned it in it had multiport fuel injection and got actualy very good milage IF he kept his foot out of it but then he went nutz and began moding the hell out of it

there are a couple onine sellers that sell complete police car packages, with lights and all! Vehicles usually have 60 somthing k miles nad average 15 grand

Most defurnately a great commuter car! Sadly the original upholstery in most tends to disintergrate extremely quickly... Has it got the speakers in the headrests?

No headrest speakers in this one. I've replaced all the speakers and the radio, but as you mentioned, the upholstery is destroyed in the drivers seat. I replaced the headliner fabric too.
