The character idea (or rather, what I identify myself with) is based upon a mixture of celtic mythology (much like the irish renaissance) and shamanism & tribalism.
I consider him to be a self-conscious, headstrong maverick, yet with a dedicated place in the social system as an outsider - much like a tradtional shaman.

Ahh interesting; I found it to bare a resemblance appearance wise to my own fursona, with the armbands, loincloth, and knife; of course that does not necessarily mean they are the same culturally; though they can be. Mine is more based on a mixture of Southwestern, Plains, and Northeastern American Indians, though I personally am a Southwestern Indian on its own. It looks great anyway; thanks for sharing!
