the trick is to pick one side, get a plus formation on it with center pieces of the 4 other sides amtching up, then the corners, then flip it over and solve the second layer by moveing the side pieces from the first layer in two ways in which they can meet and then resetting it back to its origonal position with one extra piece in place, continue taht until its solved, then well after that its hard to explain.... my record was like 1:17
