I haven't made up my mind yet if I should make it officially an illustration of "Three Bad Dogs" or "You should have known better"; it started as one for the latter but I think it works for the former as well. Coda (recently passed away) was the boss of the house, even though Eli and Cauchy were each double her weight. I imagined her keeping them in line with threats to tan their hides with a big wooden spoon, like a certain relative of mine used to do.
