A lot of things:
Try do a more solid color (without pencil marks) try watercolor if want keep it traditional.
Make a darker lines.
Work at fatfur proportions, draw a fatfur isn't simply put a circle at a thin character and call it "belly" belly isn't a circle.
It is a set of merged ellipses working together.
