I found a supplier that makes these claw-shaped metal spike things that are really cool. And I finally got around to drilling holes in some scales so I could attach them. I've got them embedded in aluminum scales and a couple stainless steel scales (which were really annoying to drill through).

I'm considering making a tail with these embedded in them. Maybe also modifying my scale vest to have a row of them going down the spine.

Though I'll have to wait until more arrive in the mail. They're also more expensive than is happy (small ones are $2 each, large ones $3), but oh well. If someone wants them in a commission they'll just increase the materials cost a bit.
