This is part of my NaNoWriMo project - check out the explanation on my journal! :)
2009 note: I'm also noting that I should exploit the short-story-esque format a little more. I can get away with sci-fi logic and dream logic. As long as things are internally consistent, the first lunatic difference is free. Plus hey furries, that's usually one more free break from reality. Internal consistency is the important thing. Not showing all of the lunacy in paragraph one, but instead building up to it, is also a helpful thing sometimes.
This is transcribed from handwritten notes I made yesterday. #9 will land this evening, insh'allah and the creek don't rise. Spending some extra time on #8 on account of one of the primary fetish components being targeted at a friend perennially in need of good cheer. It strikes me that there's probably a significant "I can't find good stories about this" component to most of the things people asked for. Could be my ego speaking, there, but that's no reason not to try to write good smut about the various requests.
This story was a candidate for an "it was all a dream" ending, but I did that once already and now it bores me, so if you want her to wake up when her plane lands, you are welcome to imagine so.
The Inner Editor lies on the hood of a Pacer just outside the fence around the airport, screaming at Airbus liners as they put down their flaps.
2011 note: I'm reasonably happy about this one - the later entries in 2009 and 2010 both were improvements on the early part of the month. Practice is useful! :D This one, however, had effects I didn't expect - commenters pointed out that it was problematic. Like the other stories, I haven't edited it, but I am reflecting on it. Part of why I write is discovery. Often what I discover are my own mistakes, limitations, and flaws. Those are good things to discover, sure, but the process of discovery is painful for me and others, and that part sucks. In this case, the story is a lot more cheerful if you already know the character of Mia (from the mind of
solei), who is a total sweetheart and pretty much incapable of malice.

In all honesty this was a creepy twist at all sides, I think maybe I would of liked it better if Mia was a herm or male... a much different kinda ride eh? lol... ah but whatever...
Very....ok,normally I'd say interesting but no, this was just flat out weird xD
I think I feel that way since I fly semi-often so ...kinda crazy and such... xD
