One more pic of Momma Mothra-- I know insects aren't exactly furry, but if you take a look you will see that these guys actually have fur and with very striking markings at that. The fact that they are so fuzzy makes them charming and cute in my book!

Of course the saga of the clatapitters is far from finished. Even now they snooze in their cocoons as they wait for Spring's warm return. I plan to get some pics of the cocoons in their suspended habitat up here soon. :)
