yes they are normally the leg pads alone your looking at $1200 I got mine for $600 brand new due to a factory defect in the design with the gray part of the design but if you compared mine to the regular pad or if you compared it to my blocker and glove honestly I think it looks better that way so it saved me some money there plus there both the same pad so that is great

I love my set of Vaughns they are very comfortable to wear and I am very mobile in them it is my favorite set of pads to date Expensive but well worth it's price tag

I've never gotten to play Goalie on ice. Usually I only can play street and so I use torn up little kids pads. They're filled with like foam and made out of some kind of plastic weave. I really wish I had the money to play goalie because I love it so much. You're very lucky to have such nice pads. :c

that is understandable it is a very expensive part of the game us goaltenders have alot more expensive gear to buy then regular players do which is what makes getting into goaltending so difficult
