I been feeling the urge to draw her for a long time now. SO here she is, Princess Celestia!

she is one of my favorite non Mane6 ponies (wich would be Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash although Rainbow Dash being my primary favorite) second only to her own sister Princess Luna who is my primary favorite.

for thoughs who don't know, Princess Celestia, as noted by her Cutie Mark is the goddess who raises and lowers the Sun each day to bring Light and warmth to Equestria. I can't speak on behalf of everybody, cuz I do know there are still quite a few Celestia fans out there, but sadly, her Majesty has been target to bashing, hating, as well as being marked as a troll.

although I seen her so called 'trollish' behaviors myself, I do recognise that Celestia is again, as her title states, a Princess, and although she gives her responsibilities and possition of power with upmost respect and honor, it doesn't hurt for her to have a little fun while doing it. I mean, you sit there for like over a thousand years, on that thrown, all by your self. you gotta do something to keep from going completely crackers.

therefore, I refuse to call her a troll. Shes just a fun loving, cheeky Princess that realy likes to play with her subject's every once in a while. Most likely its the same with her sister who would also be a bit mischievious on occasion.

Another thing I can't understand is Bashing her.... honestly, whats the deal with that? why bash her? why hate her? shes never harm anyone. well, okay sure she put her sister into the moon for a thousand years. and realy I got my own theory on that wich i will explain in a moment. but first, why would anyone want to hate on her? as far as I can tell shes quite kind, loving, is a great teacher to Twilight, and shes not throwing anypony in the dungeon or god forbit killing anypony that so much as say no to her. again, its illogical to hate her.

Now for locking her sister in the moon. I have my own theory why she did that. as we all know, Celestia and luna both wielded the Elements of Harmony three for Luna three for Celestia. after Luna became Nightmare Moon Celestia had to use all six. even though shes quite Powerful, Celestia could NOT use the Elements to their full capabilities because she could only control Luna's three Elements at only a small fraction of their potential.

though she had enough power to use them all she could not use them to release Luna from her Nightmare Moon persona. SO Celestia instead desided to lock her into the moon for 1000 years. it was infact all planned. Celestia knew she couldn't do it by herself. but she knew the Elements of harmony's new bearers would soon come forth from her kingdom.

after she met Twilight Sparkle she knew the Unicorn's potential and therefore saw that she was destened to become the Element of Magic, upon realising this, she trained Twilight, and upon the eve of Nightmare Moon's return desided it was time for Twilight to make some friends. knowing well that these friends would be the bearer's of the rest of the Elements of harmony.

Anyways thats my theory. but again I refuse to see her as a troll or anything like that.
