This song I've had in my head for the last month, and I was glad to find out what chords I needed to play in order to record it :D. The lyrics I already wrote a while back, though.

I consider this a song of hope. The song states, in a nutshell, that to at least know that we all have to go while someone important has left us does seem to end some of the pain that one experiences while feeling a longing for that person. The song also states, in a less direct manner, that there's always hope in the worst situations, and that in order to feel that hope and move on, you must recognize the good that is to happen to you in the nearby future.

Overall, I think I did okay with this, though the organ was a little off a few times ><.
