This one works best as inks, I agree.

I actually culled the design from a piece I did years ago of a magical power armor suit. Very little change was necessary. The suit and these gentlemen have similar builds.

Except these guys need no power other than their own. I can imagine it being a power suit though, it's very tank-like.

It was powered by the soul of a captured vampire that was unable to enter our world. We (a government project) shackled it's soul into a suit built of obsidian and gold and it was a massive failure. A teenaged guy finds it and it works for him as a power suit, but during the night-time hours the suit (Warhound) prowls about on it's own, killing people and draining their blood, unbeknownst to the kid.
