Yea, a lot of good cards get banned from tounries becuasse how easily someone can be cheap with them. I can think of a couple favortecards that got banned.

Let's say once I played that one in organized events, I just stopped playing magic. Less about playing like a spike and more planing your moves turn by turn, and less likely that you are boned due to "mana screw" or in this case lack of resources. An actual game that actually kneecaps you for trying to burn out your hand way to quickly.

:O yugioh was my fave game ever...I can never beat the rich people who play this game though :/

in my final days of yugioh I tried my best and only took 2nd place
I lost to 1 person and it was simply cause his deck had the more expensive cards that I wish I had.
(though the final life points for him where 2,350 and I got him down to 700 in the final match)
I then was like... why am I even playing this game? The person who has the more expensive cards normally wins do to how broken this game is with the cards.

And so my cards where sealed away never to use their dark magic again to force me to play a children's card game that I could never win at.

issue with yugioh, you got your people who go out spend loads of money of the rare powerful cards and build decks that just negate everything, i should know one of my friends at college does just that. still a fun game when you have an 8 way duel, just not when everyone runs swords of revealing light

lol yeah that's the kinda guy I had to fight in the end ^^; my whole deck was common cards. I made a pretty neat deck that had good combos with it just this guy used a deck that would lock down special summon make you think you got him on the ropes then he would play heavy storm then dark hole then special summon 5 monsters with 2,000 or more attack points and go for the win :P this was the time when Xyz came out and I knew nothing about them but I still took home 2nd placed with a deck full of common cards.

yeah i have 2 decks, one is dark worlds which base on special summon from graveyard and my others are my warriors which focus on my XYZ's gachi gachi, 2 grenosaurus a utopia and an illumiknight, then my synchros which are drill warrior and colossal warrior, all pretty easy cards to get hold of and some decent pulls from the packs

my deck was simple. use krebons to stop attacks then either synchro into star dust or other monsters depending on what I had. after that I now have 1 dark monster and 1 light monster inside my grave and remove them to special summon chaos sorcerer and use his effect to remove the bigger monsters. then blast away with star dust or another monster.

none of my monster had over 2500 atk the idea was to get star dust out and chaos out then blast away with them. Just this guy drew the cards to stop my special summons and all I had was kerbons, sangan, dd warrior lady, gale the wirlwind, dark and light monsters with good effects etc.

the only problem was is they made that master hyprieon card and he could get 3 out at anytime cause of how he built his deck. pretty much he would make a wall of Xyz gachi gachi stop special summons then destroy the field and go for the win. after the first duel I learned a lot and saw how he dueled and beat him in the 2nd duel he then side deck and change his whole tactics around and that threw me off making be lose the match.

my most powerful in my warrior deck is colossal warriors at 2800 and in my dark worlds its belial at 2800 but with gates of the dark world down he boosts to 3100,also wanting a stardust and a few other cards to build my harpie deck just need a pet dragon and then the harpies are done then i just need the suppost cards like bladefly and bird face

lol why is everyone after the harpie cards I know they where once really good cards but still all your going to get is censored cards that at one time had nice boobs XD ^^ I still have my original uncensored harpie lady *chuckles*

I never really liked decks that go around 1 name... aka elemental heros, black wings, etc. that kinda takes the fun out of the game cause the decks are kinda self built of how they work... freaking Jaden and his heros god so many heros T_T and they are not even that great unless you use the new omiheros that can fuse with your foes monsters.

basicaly dark worlds are easy to run and my friend was getting rid of some of his so i bought their structure deck traded some from him then used that while i got back used to the game then made my warriors now atempting the harpies cos its a deck no one uses at college so i figured id make it

I still don't see how someone can be the champion of yugioh if any deck can be beat. like counter decks only work on decks it counters and you can't counter all decks. I had a level 2 normal only deck and surprised people at how skilled I was with it.

heh i like using burn decks and lock downs, dual solar flare dragon with some counter traps and a mirror force = trolol have fun

yep hehe but burn decks don't always work if the person side decks stuff that will heal them instead :P like prime material dragon

yes but i rarely do consecutive duals, so side decks are pretty useless since they can only be aded to your main deck before a duel starts

thanks to side decking I have lost many duels :P

yeah i refuse to use side decks, i use 4-5 cards main deck then up to 15 extra deck with my XYZ and synchros. i find side decks cheap and pathetic tbh

yeah ^^; plus you don't always draw good cards and sometimes you don't draw any monster at all

yeah but in my decks sometimes i get traps and spells more useful than monsters, sakeratsu armour, torential tribure, mirror force, swords of revealing light, aslong at then dont have Shien from the six samurai's im set

and yet they make traps that negate all traps :P like trap stun. *shrugs* you just have to think better then the other person when making a deck ^^; not every deck is going to be a winner 100%

take the frog deck it was a big mistake they made making it. It was so broken it could win a duel in 1 turn on the first turn.

they then banned cards so that deck could never be made again and now it does not work or win duels as much

yeah it irritates me when they make cards then ban them later, why make them in the first place? its stupid

yes but you have to have 5 monster in your grave... that means it could hider you in the duel and even be shut down by necro-valley :C

dont get me started on those damn grave keepers my friend runs them, but dont mean bugger all when they dun stop me card destructioning 2 silva's and a goldd with grapha to the grave yard special summon all 3 due to their effect which necro valley dun stop then bouncing one silva back to my hand to special summon grapha through effect c:

no you can't play monster reborn on star dust if it was summoned by star light road.... :P but nothing says I can't do that... wtf I'm pretty sure I can bring back star dust with monster reborn if its in the graveyard I did summon it. nope you did not use a tuner to summon it the right way so it can't be summoned from the grave... same with fusion monsters. But its in the graveyard... monster reborn says I can summon it from the grave if its in the grave!

its like if you solemn a summon it sends it to the graveyard but it cant be braught back -apparently- according to the living rule books who i play with

it's in the grave monster reborn special summons it from the grave but nope they have to complicate things saying no you can't do that cause of some strange rule saying it was not summoned the right way. Why would that even matter? its in the grave monster reborn summons it end of story no confusion.

wait... if star dust can't be reborn from being summoned irregular that means its own effect would cancel itself out cause it special summons itself from the grave meaning its no longer a tuner legit summoning so the next time star dust dies or use its power it can't return by that logic XD

no because its an effect, effects carry themself out unless they are successfully negated. like when your opponent summons stardust and negates something, while its in their graveyard from its effect you can monster reborn it to your side of the field before they special summon it back

okay but now star dust is reborn by monster reborn that means it was not summoned right by a tuner so that means it can't be brought back again right? cause the rule says it has to be summon right to be brought back from the grave.... unless the rule is complete BS and someone made it up cause they where losing XD

star light road + star dust = special summon (star dust dies and monster reborn can't bring it back cause it was not summoned right)

monster reborn + star dust = special summon (star dust dies and no one can bring it back cause it was not summoned right)

people also say if you monster reborn star dust it's effect will not work to revive itself cause it was not summoned right same with using star light road with it.

basicaly its the origonal summoning, starlight road, moster reborn, no, solmned while being summoned, no, summons correctly no interuptions ect, yes, gets destroyed and monster reborned, then destroyed a second time and the other players reborns it it still works cos it was correctly summoned the first time.

this principal is amusing in 8 way duals, its basicaly everyone takes this one guys shien over and over and he gets so mad at it

then this was total bs when I had an exodia deck. I draw all 5 parts and the guy divine wrath's exodia's effect and everyone in the local tournament agreed he could do that so I took home last place. That was messed up :P

but the thing was divine wrath can't chain to Exodia's effect cause its an instant win effect that happens before the card can work, so everyone their cheated me saying it would meaning... I won and took first not last :P

*chuckles at how bad they made the playable wing dragon of ra* lets see... 3 monsters needed to summon it and you have 2 choices then... either drain your life points to 100 or pay 1,000 to destroy 1 card and be stuck with a 0 atk and 0 def monster.... ^^; what a bad card the price to play it is so high and it leaves you wide open for anything you can't even revive it from the grave yard only obelisk can be special summoned like that.

the playable obelisk is bad ass but mirror force and lightning vortex can destroy god cards xD anything that does not target works on them =3

mirror force only if its a different monster you control that sets it off, spells and traps cant be activated in obelisks attack, personaly id just go torrential tribute, summoned, activate, all cards on the field die

I used to play Yu gi oh, but really the game got annoying with the fact that whatever was new was far more powerful than anything that was OP a year or so ago, so I stopped playing that game and picked up Magic: The Gathering. I like it because its less cartoonish and has a fairly standard power base for cards throughout all the sets.

ah... i took a long shot on the blue eyes being avion... tyrant dragon i couldnt see, and after looking closer i noticed it wasnt diff dimension dragon(only one set of wings) still... getting 1/2 of them right when i cant see much of them(and me not having a dragon-type deck) i'm a bit proud of myself
