I had nooo idea why GIMP shrinks layers at different rates... So my frames were shrunk slightly differently. Really retarded.
So I whipped out the .psd file again and re-shrunk it and THEN merged the layers together... I though I'd add a little bit of gradient shading to the characters and lighting on the background while I was at it, makes it look a little bit better.

haha yep. I used it for years and the DAY I switched to SAI Paint tool I NEVER went back to drawing in GIMP
I mean.... OMG... NO LAG
I mean seriously.. NO LAG!!!
And it never crashes!! SWEET I NEVER LOSE ANY OF MY WORK FOR NO REASON.
The only reason I use gimp is for if I absolutely HAVE to use the gradient tool, or a filter, animate something Or If I have to crop/shrink a picture. I usually rage quit every time i open it because it LAGS SO MUCH AUGH
