After reading about the contest for the deluxe Empowered graphic novel in Adam Warren's Deviantart journal (here: http://adamwarren.deviantart.com/jo.....18514#comments) I felt a need to draw this. The comp isn't open to anyone outside the US, so Adam is offering an art for someone outside instead. You had to say who your fave Emp-verse character is and why. One of the reasons I love Emp is because she reminds me of Usagi.

I used a pic of Sailor Moon in her standard pose that I had saved on my computer as the pose ref, though I changed her legs, and tried to make her look like Emp cosplaying as Sailor Moon. And so I wanted to draw Emp's lovely curves. I kinda failed though =TT___TT=

I've wanted to draw Empowered for ages. I just haven't. Yeah.

Was supposed to be a quick pic. 5 hours and multi layers for the line work, then multi layers for the colouring later, and this is what happened. Wanted to leave the BG white.
